Before You Write
Most messages are about a link that will not load, and most of those come down to the same handful of causes. Worth a quick check first:
- The post belongs to a private account
- The post was deleted after you copied the link
- The link is partial, shortened or missing the post ID
- An ad blocker or privacy extension is stopping the request
The troubleshooting section on the homepage covers each one. If none of it applies, write in.
Reporting a Broken Link
To save a round of back and forth, include these three things:
- The full Threads post URL you tried to download.
- What you saw on screen, including the exact error message if there was one.
- Your device and browser. For example iPhone with Safari, Android with Chrome, or Windows with Firefox.
With those three the problem is usually reproducible in a minute. Without them it turns into guesswork.
Feature Requests
Something you want the tool to do that it does not? Send it over. Support for other platforms, quality options, batch downloads, a browser shortcut, whatever it is.
Not everything gets built, but every suggestion gets read and the useful ones go on the list.
Copyright and Takedown Requests
If you own content that has been misused through this tool, write in with:
- Proof that you own or control the rights to the content
- The specific Threads post URL involved
- What you would like done
